Society Information

The Lincolnshire Buff Poultry Society welcomes new members whether your interest is in keeping a few hens for eggs, conservation, keeping an all round smallholders bird or you wish to support the County breed of Lincolnshire.  The society would particularly like to encourage serious breeders who could help to increase the number of quality birds in circulation.

Benefits of Joining:

As a member you will receive a Spring and Summer newsletter, as well as an annual Yearbook containing articles, colour photographs, information on events and shows and annual members list which is useful for sourcing stock.  You will also be able to advertise for stock for sale, wanted or exchange.

Subscriptions:

Single/Family Member      £7 (one vote and copy of newsletters per household)

Under 16’s £4.50

Please note – it was agreed at the AGM in September 2012 to end the Senior Citizen membership category.  New categories will be adults £7 and Under 16’s £4.50.  This will come into effect in the new Society year on the 1st September 2013.  Membership subscriptions will be reviewed over the coming years in light of postage and printing prices increasing.

Why not become a Friend of the Lincolnshire Buff Poultry Society?

Our new Category for those wishing to support our wonderful Breed, annual membership costs £25 including a free enamel badge.  This membership entitles the member to the same newsletters and voting rights as the above.

Subscriptions are then due for renewal annually on the 1st September.  Please make cheques payable to the “Lincolnshire Buff Poultry Society”.
